Spartan Moms
By Amy Banta

Spartan Moms is a high-concept comedy that captures the unique cadence of Mom-conversations — the conversations that women try to have while constantly being interrupted by their children. Every mom reading this knows exactly what I’m talking about. If you want to know what I’m talking about, just go to the park, sit down on a bench, and listen to the moms. You’ll hear what I mean. Or better yet, go to the theater, sit down in the audience, and watch Spartan Moms. You’ll see, hear, and feel what I mean. And, have a good laugh while you’re at it. Motherhood would be depressing if it weren’t so darned funny.
Trigger Warning: This play depicts scenes of moms conversing in the wild. Some viewers may be disturbed by the amount of cringe. Sorry kids, we’re not better than that.
